If the winnings are credited as cash, you can withdraw cash 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
On the day of the winner announcement, after the drawing time, the prize will be processed in My Page > Order History.
No separate taxes will be incurred.
The credited cash can be withdrawn, used to purchase tickets, or converted to points 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If the prize is between USD 600 and USD 1,500, after deducting 24-37% federal tax, 10% income tax, and remittance fees, the balance will be paid within 7 business days from the winner announcement date. (For prizes under USD 1 million, the US purchasing agency receives it on behalf, but MegaPowerUSA pays the winner in advance.)
The processed prize can be withdrawn, used to purchase tickets, or converted to points 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If the prize is between USD 1,500 and USD 1,000,000 (approx. USD 1.3 billion), after deducting 24-37% federal tax, 8% Oregon state tax, 10% income tax, and remittance fees, the balance will be automatically paid as winnings within 15 business days from the winner announcement date. (For prizes under USD 1 million, the US purchasing agency receives it on behalf, but MegaPowerUSA pays the winner in advance.)
The paid prize can be withdrawn 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. (However, additional taxes may be incurred payable to the Korean government depending on the winner’s annual personal income after cash withdrawal.)
For winnings of USD 1 million (approx. USD 1.3 billion) or more, the winner will visit the US directly with MegaPowerUSA staff and receive the lottery winnings together with the contracted lawyer of the local purchasing agency.
MegaPowerUSA will advance all related costs such as economy airfare and up to 2 months stay at a 3-4 star hotel for the prize collection (detailed support items to be agreed upon with the winner).
The winner pays 5% of the actual amount received after tax deduction to MegaPowerUSA after receiving the prize.
For winnings of USD 10 million (approx. USD 13 billion) or more, the winner will visit the US directly with MegaPowerUSA staff and receive the lottery winnings together with the contracted lawyer of the local purchasing agency.
MegaPowerUSA will advance all related costs including lawyer fees, first-class airfare, up to 2 months stay at a 5-star hotel, and security expenses for the prize collection.
The winner pays MegaPowerUSA 3% for winnings over USD 300 billion, and 1% for winnings over USD 1 trillion of the actual amount received after tax deduction.
